Mrs. Bligh has experience in the classroom and an enthusiasm for early childhood education that makes her love the JLU program and gives her a desire to lead and continuously improve the program. Mrs. Bligh holds a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood and Special Education as well as a master’s degree in Special Education from Roberts Wesleyan College.
Since September 2010, Mrs. Bligh has been a member of the JLU family, starting her career in early childhood education as JLU's first preschool teacher. In the four years since joining our team she has worked both as a full-time preschool and toddler teacher in the classroom, as well as serving for a year as an assistant director.
Mrs. Bligh also is a JLU parent and enjoys the benefits of seeing the program from both the administrative and parent perspectives. She has a desire to serve our families and staff with a servant’s heart and gives her all to making JLU the best it can be on a daily basis.
Miss Kristin Ford, Office Assistant
Joined JLU: September 2018
Degree: HS diploma
Experience prior to JLU: over three years of experience in management and customer service working for Marriott as an operations manager
Personal life: enjoys reading, hiking and exploring, volunteering with the Alzheimer's Association, and spending time with her family and cats
Miss Kristin Ford is happy to be a part of the JLU Child Care administrative time after relocating from her home state of Virginia. She has strong customer service and managerial skills which led her to being the Operations Manager for a Marriott property at the young age of 20. However, despite her success she found volunteering one week at her church’s Vacation Bible School to be the most fulfilling week of the year. She now feels blessed to be able to use her professional skills to support the ministry at JLU Child Care.
