Personal life: married, mother of two, enjoys arts and crafts, attends and teaches Sunday school at Northridge Church
Mrs. Sharon Bligh has been a member of the JLU family since the center opened, starting her career in early childhood education as JLU's first preschool teacher. Since joining our team she has worked as a full-time preschool teacher, toddler teacher, assistant director and currently as the director. Mrs. Bligh also is a JLU parent and enjoys the benefits of seeing the program from both the administrative and parent perspectives. She has a desire to serve our families and staff with a servant’s heart and gives her all to making JLU the best it can be on a daily basis.
Mrs. Dawn Brugger,

Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Health Science from the College at Brockport and a certificate in Early Childhood Education from WeMoCo
Experience prior to JLU: Teacher in the after school program at the Brockport Free Methodist Church in Brockport.
Personal life: married to her best friend, mom to 3 fur babies, enjoys coffee, gardening, graphic design and volunteers with the Senior High Youth at Brockport Free Methodist Church where she also attends.
Mrs. Dawn Brugger first joined the JLU family as an infant teacher, then as a toddler teacher. She now uses her gifts and talents in the main office both as an administrator and an Internal Coach for the Pyramid Model. Mrs. Brugger has a passion for teaching and helps provide our teachers with in-classroom technical assistance and practice based coaching.
Miss Sarah Owens, Office Assistant / Admin

Degree: Child Development Associates in Preschool and Pre-K
Experience prior to JLU: over 10 years of babysitting and nanny experience, VBS teacher
Personal life: enjoys spending time with her boyfriend and family, shopping, doing hair and makeup, exercising and playing with her dog
Miss Sarah Owens has been a proud member of the JLU Child Care family since its opening. Her many talents and flexibility have allowed her to work in positions both outside of the classroom as well in the classrooms with multiple age groups. She is happy to use her diverse experience now as an administrator at JLU. Outside of JLU, Miss Owens is director of the Vacation Bible School program at her home church. We are confident that her abounding energy and infectious smile brighten the JLU Child Care program each day.
