Mrs. Bligh has experience in the classroom and an enthusiasm for early childhood education that makes her love the JLU program and gives her a desire to lead and continuously improve the program. Mrs. Bligh holds a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood and Special Education as well as a master’s degree in Special Education from Roberts Wesleyan College.
Since September 2010, Mrs. Bligh has been a member of the JLU family, starting her career in early childhood education as JLU's first preschool teacher. In the four years since joining our team she has worked both as a full-time preschool and toddler teacher in the classroom, as well as serving for a year as an assistant director.
Mrs. Bligh also is a JLU parent and enjoys the benefits of seeing the program from both the administrative and parent perspectives. She has a desire to serve our families and staff with a servant’s heart and gives her all to making JLU the best it can be on a daily basis.
Mrs. Heather Hardaway, Office Assistant

Degree: HS diploma; attended Mt. Vernon Nazarene University
Experience prior to JLU: over ten years of professional administrative experience in the real estate industry; seven years of experience working in ministry as a youth leader at Lakeshore Community Church
Personal life: enjoys reading, painting, gardening and is currently training to become a doula
Mrs. Heather Hardaway is passionate about serving people and has a God given gift in administration. She has strong multitasking abilityes, interpersonal skills and a strong attention to detail. Mrs. Hardaway also has a heart for teaching children to love one another and enjoys seeing their excitement in learning. Her administrative knowledge and heart for ministry make her a valuable part of the JLU Child Care team.
