Experience prior to JLU:   more than 30 years of experience teaching in child care centers, most recently acted as the Program Director at her previous center

Personal life: married, enjoys spending time with her family

Miss Tara Baleno 

Joined JLU: October 2014

Degree: Child Development Associate in infant and toddler care

Experience prior to JLU: worked with children at St. Paul Lutheran School in Hilton

Personal life: mother of three children, enjoys boating, camping, being outdoors and spending time with her family

Infant A, PT Teacher

Mrs. Cheryle Johnson

Joined JLU: November 2015

Degree: HS diploma; Dental Assistant Certificate

Experience prior to JLU: dental assistant for 12 years; provided childcare in home prior to dental career

Personal life: married, mother of four, grandmother of four, enjoys being outside walking her dog, camping, fishing, floral arranging and cake decorating

Infant B, FT Teacher

Mrs. Melissa Roe

Joined JLU: June 2013

Degree: Child Development Associate, Associate degree in liberal arts from Monroe Community College

Experience prior to JLU: worked at Home Depot while searching for a position in child care 

Personal life: married, leader in the Agape Club at Gates-Chili Middle School, attends Living Waters Christian Fellowship 

Infant B, FT Teacher

Miss Tia Mason

Joined JLU: August 2014

Degree: Associate's degree in liberal arts from MCC

Experience prior to JLU: worked as the Crisis Nursery of Greater Rochester, teacher's aide at New Life Fellowship for four years

Personal life: has a daughter whom she loves spending time with, enjoys playing volleyball and reading

Infant B, PT Teacher

Miss Amy Trichanh

Joined JLU: September 2016

Degree: High school diploma; 18 credits in Early Care at Monroe Community College

Experience prior to JLU: one year of experience as a cafeteria aide at Neil Armstrong elementary school; childcare internship as an infant teacher at MCC; Sunday school teacher, VBS and drama director at home church for four years

Personal life: attends Messiah Lutheran Church, enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, baking and Netflix
