Preschool is the first experience many three and four years have in a structred setting where they have an opportunity to learn to share, follow instructions and good decision making with a focus on loving others.
The JLU preschool program is filled with learning on the go with our teachers seizing opportunities for teachable moments throughout the day. Our teachers keep pace with your child at a time when there are so many new things to see and do. Academic development is joined with Bible lessons and lots of coaching on how we best live together.
JLU provides a full-day preschool program that promotes active play, exploration, independence, and self-esteem. The curriculum focuses on language, math, science, religion, and social skills. Children have quiet time daily and may sleep or rest quietly on individual mats.
"Your teachers are of the utmost respectable and caring teachers I have met. Each and every one of them has truly opened their arms to our children and truly made our family feel like part of theirs." - JLU preschool parent
