Mrs. Cheryle Johnson

Joined JLU: November 2015

Degree: currently enrolled in Child Development Associate’s in infant and toddler care; Dental Assistant Certificate​; Dental Assistant Certificate

Experience prior to JLU: dental assistant for 12 years; provided childcare in home prior to dental career

Personal life: married, mother of four, grandmother of four, enjoys being outside walking her dog, camping, fishing, floral arranging and cake decorating

Miss Kimberly Slaughter

Experience prior to JLU: on year as a 1:1 Aide at The Arc Rainbow Preschool; summer camp counselor at Lamoka Baptist Camp; private nanny for three years
Personal life: loves photography, teaches dance to children

 

Infant/Toddler Substitute

Miss Corina Ferro

Joined JLU: August 2017

Degree: BFA in Dance and a BS in Interdisciplinary Arts for Children

Experience prior to JLU: worked with children as a dance instructor for four years at two studios; substitute teacher in the Brockport CSD; five years of experience as a camp counselor at Casowasco Camp; volunteer for church nursery

Personal life: enjoys dancing

Mrs. Hannah Dodson

Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Japanese Studies from Binghamton University; Associate’s degree from GCC
Experience prior to JLU: customer service experience at Starbucks, dining services and catering experience while in college; four years volunteering in church nursery and VBS
Personal life: married, enjoys playing music and spending time with friends and family
