Miss Melina Mineti

Joined JLU: August 2018

Degree: HS diploma;  currently enrolled at Brockport College

Experience prior to JLU: professional experience as a florist; five years of working with children at VBS, church nursery and babysitting

Personal life: loves cats, tea and Christmas and is a member of the Brockport Free Methodist Church

Toddler B, FT Teacher

Miss Rena Rodwell

Joined JLU: December 2020

Degree: AA in Culinary Arts from Niagara CC

Experience prior to JLU: two years of experience as a line and sauté cook at Brickyard Brewing Co.; one year of customer service experience as a supervisor at Barnes & Noble; five years of leading youth group for 2nd to 5th grade at Mother of Sorrows church
Personal life: loves music, cooking, and spending time with family

Miss Alexia Marathe

Joined JLU: August 2019

Degree: HS diploma; currently enrolled at Monroe Community College

Experience prior to JLU: one year of experience as an assistant teacher at Park Ridge childcare

Personal life: enjoys singing and painting

Miss Kathrine Aiosa

Joined JLU: September 2018

Degree: BA in Educational Studies from West Virginia Wesleyan College
Experience prior to JLU: one year of childcare experience as an infant and toddler teacher; two years of college observations in elementary schools; two years teaching preschool physical education; over eight years of experience teaching VBS and Sunday school 
Personal life: enjoys ultimate Frisbee, member of Zeta Tau Alpha sorority

Miss Amelia Lundberg

Degree: HS diploma

Experience prior to JLU: personal nanny for four years; volunteer in her church nursery for over ten years; babysitting for over ten years

Personal life: enjoys reading, watching movies and sewing

Mrs. Katherine DeChane

Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Sociomedical Sciences from SUNY Geneseo
Experience prior to JLU: two years of customer service experience at SUNY Geneseo Student Life; Counselor at a summer camp for three years; five years of restaurant experience 
Personal life: married, enjoys remodeling and fixing up her home

Infant/Toddler Substitute

Miss Corina Ferro

Degree: BFA in Dance and a BS in Interdisciplinary Arts for Children

Experience prior to JLU: worked with children as a dance instructor for four years at two studios; substitute teacher in the Brockport CSD; five years of experience as a camp counselor at Casowasco Camp; volunteer for church nursery

Infant/Toddler Substitute

Mrs. Hannah Dodson

Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Japanese Studies from Binghamton University; Associate’s degree from GCC
Experience prior to JLU: customer service experience at Starbucks, dining services and catering experience while in college; four years volunteering in church nursery and VBS
Personal life: married, enjoys playing music and spending time with friends and family
