Summary:
The person
holding this position will be responsible for implementing the program plan of JLU in each classroom as needed. This person will work in cooperation with the director, parents and staff to
provide a loving and welcoming environment for the children and families at JLU Child Care.
Start Date: Immediately
Hours: Preferred availability Monday - Friday 6 a.m. - 6:15 p.m. but exact hours will vary based on enrollment and center needs. The more flexible, and available, the more potential for hours as a substitute when
needed.

Responsibilities:
- Set a Christian example for all children, their families and center staff.
- Maintain a clean, ordered classroom and center that is inviting to JLU families and staff
- Maintain a level of professionalism, respect and compassion for all employees, parents and children.
- Knowledge and compliance of all state OCFS regulations governing the operation of the center.
- Maintain required center documentation as required.
- Follow all center policies as outlined in the JLU Child Care Staff Handbook.
- Attend required staff meetings and training programs.
- Maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Communicate regularly and professionally with the Director and all JLU Child Care staff.
- Must be able to stay standing for majority of your job responsibilities and the duration of your scheduled shift.
- Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds regularly.

Requirements and/or Qualifications:
- High School Diploma completed or in process
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Experience working with children, preferrably in a childcare setting.
- Desire to teach children about God's Love.
Pay & Benefits:
- $13.50 - $15.00/hour depending on experience and availability.
