School Age Care ( 5 - 12 years)
School age children at JLU participate in a variety of activities designed to foster cognitive, social and spiritual development through planned activities, centers and teacher led devotionals.
Our school age students are welcome to join our program for full-days whenever school is not in session. On full days of care, a nutritious lunch is also provided to all students in addition to breakfast and snack.
Before & After Care
Our before and after care program is only available to students in the home School District of each JLU Child Care location.
All children arriving prior to 8 a.m. are given an opportunity to eat breakfast prior to leaving for school. Children are walked to their bus stop each day by their teacher and then met at the bus stop again in the afternoon to be escorted into the building. Snack is served upon arrival in the afternoon.
JLU in Spencerport
Elementary school students have the option to be bused to and from:

- Canal View
- Munn
- Terry Taylor
To set up busing, parents must contact the Spencerport CSD Transportation Dept at 349-5000. If your child attends Cosgrove MS, they will be required to walk to and from school from JLU each day.
JLU in Brockport
Elementary school students have the option to be bused to and from:
- Ginther
- Barclay
- Hill

The mission of JLU Child Care is to provide quality, Christian education to infants, toddlers, preschool, pre-k and school age children. JLU is a full-day program, open 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, and is licensed by the NYS Office of Children and Family Services.
